Experience:

• At least 4 years

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

• Professional qualifications such as CA (CC), ACCA, CMA, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.

• Independently manage all VAT and Tax-related affairs of the company.

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly VAT Returns (Mushak-9.1) and ensure timely compliance with NBR requirements.

• Maintain all VAT registers, Mushak forms, and statutory records as required under the VAT & SD Act and Rules.

• Handle VAT registration (BIN), amendments, VAT deduction at source (VDS), withholding tax (TDS), A-Challan, and other regulatory compliance.

• Coordinate and correspond with the National Board of Revenue (NBR), VAT Commissionerate, Income Tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.

• Handle VAT and Tax audits, assessments, inspections, notices, and related proceedings independently.

• Ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and compliance of VAT and Tax records.

• Provide VAT and Tax advice to management on business transactions and regulatory matters.

• Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Commercial, Procurement, and other departments to ensure statutory compliance.

• Perform any other VAT & Tax-related duties assigned by the management.

• Must have proven experience in independently handling VAT & Tax compliance and liaising with the National Board of Revenue (NBR).

• Sound knowledge of the Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Act, 2012, relevant Rules, and Bangladesh Income Tax laws.

• Hands-on experience with the NBR VAT Online System and related statutory procedures.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting and ERP software.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Salary: Negotiable (Based on competency and experience)
