Responsibilities & Context:

Join a leading international Shipping Agency as a vital member of our Operations Division. This role is designed for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless vessel turnarounds by executing core operational tasks, coordinating with port authorities, and providing essential logistical support to our global clients.

1. Vessel Operations & Port Formalities

· Coordinate arrival formalities: Manage documentation for arrival formalities, and attend vessels alongside Boarding/Rummage Customs and surveyors to ensure legal compliance.

· Secure permissions: Liaise with authorities (CPA Fire Station, MMD, and Shipping Office) to obtain necessary work permits and cargo discharge permissions.

· On-site attendance: Perform regular shipping agency activities at port and customs offices; manage watchman bookings for vessels at Outer Anchorage and Kutubdia.

2. Crew Logistics & Welfare

·  Manage crew transitions: Facilitate crew changes by preparing OKTB documents, hotel reservations, and domestic travel ticketing.

· Monitor & Follow-up: Oversee all crew change activities and provide necessary follow-up for medical-related crew requirements.

3. Financial & Accounting Support

· Field Transactions: Handle financial transactions at various locations, including Port Jetty Berths, Outer Anchorage, Barockunda, and Sonaichori.

· Billing Assistance: Support the accounts department in preparing and raising accurate invoices.

4. Communication & Supervision

· Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a point of contact for customers via email and report on daily work to the concerned Authority.

· Record Keeping: Maintain organized office files and comprehensive job records for all operations.

· Operational Support: Execute additional duties as assigned by Management or concerned authority.
