Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure day to day operations of the Industrial Engineering functions of assigned area
∎ Assist in establishing Standard Operating (SOP) procedure for planning, production, stock up and delivery of quality knit fabric;
∎ Monitor machines, materials and workplace to achieve maximum efficiency.
∎ Ensure load and capacity planning using Industrial Engineering tools and technique;
∎ Assist in identifying and eliminating Non Value Adding (NVA) operations by Value Stream Mapping for selected areas;
∎ Assist in Time Study Analysis for all types of functional machines;
∎ Prepare monthly production & efficiency report, machine breakdown report
∎ Analyze daily Work In Progress (WIP) and compare with planned efficiency;
∎ Check pilot run & identify the critical areas;
∎ Identify production related problem, low efficiency areas and wastage & suggest for necessary resolution;
∎ Assist to co-ordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
∎ Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and work space to illustrate maximum efficiency using IE method/tools.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 30 years
∎ Must have at least 1 year work experience in Industrial Engineering with large knit textile or Garments industry.
∎ Should have technical knowledge of IE tools and techniques that can lead to improvement in textile production or Garments production.
∎ Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
∎ Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
