Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree/Masters in any discipline.
∎ Post Graduate Diploma in Compliance & PGDHRM will get preference.
∎ Graduation in Management/Public Administration/Law/English from public university will be preferred.
∎ Skills Required: Computer skill, Language skills both in Bengali and English.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Biological ETP, Chemical Management, Environmental Compliance, Factory Compliance, Health/ Safety & Fire, HR Compliance, Labour Law, Licensing, Social Compliance, Textile Technical Compliance
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare factory for facing different audit such as social / ethical / environmental / technical / Supply Chain Security (SCS) / QMS audit.
∎ Handle compliance issues as per local law & buyer's COC and meet up the requirements of Buyers, auditors to comply
∎ Responsible for performing internal audit and follow-up audit on Ethical Standards, Buyers Code of Conduct SLCP, BSCI, WRAP, OEKOTEX@100, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, ZDHC, CTPAT, HIGG FEM, ISO, Safety issues (building, electrical & fire safety) and Environmental issues to all suppliers as well as in factory as required.
∎ To ensure conducting of internal periodical audit in factories; and ensuring issues are resolved.
∎ Prepare CAP/corrective action plan with finding the root causes to eliminate the issues permanently.
∎ To check all data, records, reports, formats, statements, files, books & register of related sections/departments are properly for up-date & maintained as per compliance requirement/standards.
∎ Ability to find out the nonconformity and to take proper measures to address the noncompliance issues and present a solution to make it sustainable.
∎ Prepare & update of all compliance related license/documents/registers/CAP as per buyer's requirement.
∎ To monitor daily workers' safety issues about health & safety, Fire safety, Accident & rout case analysis.
∎ Arrange training such as Orientation, Health & Safety, Fire Training, First Aid, MSDS, and Security Awareness training etc. effectively.
∎ Overall management of employee's punctuality, discipline, security.
∎ Address employee related issues, especially grievances and disciplinary procedures at per law.
∎ Any other day to day activities as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have ability to prepare all reports and correspondences with stakeholders in English & Bengali.
∎ Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Act 2006, Amendment act -2013, 2018, and Bangladesh Labor Rules.
∎ Must be a good team player.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have a good personality
∎ Proficient in MS Office Package
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ Good interpersonal & communication skills.
