Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible to manage all sorts of commercial activities (e.g. L/C Opening, issuance of amendment, TT, IP, acceptance and releasing payment etc.)
∎ Making correspondence with supplier to keep follow up about the import consignment.
∎ To keep follow up with bank, shipping agent, related stakeholders for releasing payment, taking delivery of cargo etc.
∎ Strict monitoring with C&F agent to expedite the customs clearance of the import consignment from Chittagong sea port and Dhaka airport within shortest time.
∎ To handle & follow the LC procedure of Machinery & Accessories.
∎ Ensure all logistics activities related to Import.
∎ Follow up the LC and other payment process with supplier through bank to complete the whole process within stipulated time frame.
∎ Maintaining all files and registers of related work.
∎ Having sound knowledge about the proper HS code of the imported items.
∎ Must have experience about preparation and submission of IP maintaining with BEPZA web portal.
∎ Must have good knowledge on LC clause, Incoterm and foreign exchange policy.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management
