Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure 3 Star Standard Food Preparation & Presentation for our valued guests/customer.
∎ Assist Head of Food & Beverage for the overall operations of the Food & Beverage Kitchen Department.
∎ Develop attractive Thai, Chinese, Indian and Bangla menus and create standard recipe cards with pictures according to the F & B policy.
∎ Produce high quality food within the allocated costing.
∎ Estimate food requirements and labor costs
∎ Understand and work with HACCP.
∎ Make sure that all machines, furniture (Fridges, benches etc.), equipment and utensils are clean and in well working condition at all times.
∎ Checks all areas as assigned in regards to sanitation and hygiene contamination of any kind. Maintain rules & regulations of fire safety at work place.
∎ Assist the Head of Food & Beverage to control costs by minimizing spoilage, utilizing food surpluses and portion controls.
∎ Decision making, Self-confidence and ability to develop creative solutions to resolve business challenges and opportunities.
∎ Prepare Annual plans, manpower plans, budget and project administrations that are aligned with Head of Food & Beverage Vision, Purpose & Values.
∎ Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
∎ Daily feedback collection and reporting of issues as they arise.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have leadership aptitude, Physically and mentally strong.
∎ Willing to extend working time if required.
∎ Overseas experience holders will get preference.
∎ Through knowledge about Food Safety, Health Hygiene, Cleanliness and well acquainted with kitchen equipment and maintain these according to International Standards.
∎ Should possess strong networking capability, entertaining clients, ability to plan ahead and ready to work under pressure.
∎ Presentable personality, well groomed, courteous and excellent inter-personal relationship skills.
∎ Fluent in spoken & written English and Bangla as well as very good in listening.
∎ Other language proficiency will be counted as an added advantage.
∎ Familiar with MS Office package and Internet Browsing.
∎ Strong Leadership skills & administrative capabilities are required to run the Kitchen activities smoothly.
∎ Must have a "Can Do Attitude".
