Responsibilities & Context:

• Lead and manage the complete Finance, Accounts, Tax, VAT, Treasury, Internal Audit, Costing, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting functions.

• Supervise LC, Foreign LC, Local LC, Back-to-Back LC, UPAS LC, Import & Export Finance, LTR, LIM, EDF, Bank Guarantees, Foreign Remittance, SWIFT transactions, and Trade Finance documentation.

• Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, annual, and statutory financial statements for multiple companies.

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing with complete accuracy.

• Monitor financial performance through KPI analysis, variance analysis, profitability analysis, trend analysis, and executive MIS reporting.

• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions regarding credit facilities, syndicated loans, working capital financing, trade finance, and treasury operations.

• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, IAS, BFRS, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Bangladesh Bank regulations, RJSC requirements, and other statutory obligations.

• Oversee corporate tax planning, tax returns, withholding tax, transfer pricing, tax assessments, VAT compliance, Mushak management, customs, bond licensing, and NBR correspondence.

• Coordinate statutory audit, internal audit, external audit, tax audit, VAT audit, compliance audit, and special management audits.

• Ensure accurate General Ledger management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Management, Intercompany Reconciliation, and Consolidation Accounting.
