Responsibilities & Context:
Maintain accounts on an accrual basis, prepare journal entries, adjust advances against bills, and ensure bank reconciliation.
Perform bill checking, validation, posting, and bank payment vouchers, execute payments, and record transactions.
Ensure a strong Internal Control System (ICS) and proper financial documentation.
Prepare, submit, and ensure compliance of VAT returns, VDS, TDS, including VAT provisions, statutory deductions, timely VAT & Tax payments, and related journal entries; maintain VAT & Tax registers and support audits.
Support cost control and cost optimization initiatives.
Petty Cash Management.
Maintain Fixed Assets Register, calculate depreciation, and support internal & external audits.
Ensure compliance with IAS, IFRS, and GAAP.
