Educational requirements:

1. MBBS from a recognized institution with valid BMDC registration.

2. Post-graduate training/experience in Orthopaedics, Emergency Medicine, or Critical Care will be an added advantage.

3. Strong skills in emergency resuscitation, fracture management, spine injury stabilization, and trauma care.

4. Ability to lead emergency teams under high-pressure situations

5. Excellent communication skills and decision-making ability.

   Required Experience:

   1. Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in Emergency, Trauma, or Orthopaedic care.

      Job responsibilities:

      a.       Lead and supervise all clinical activities in the Emergency Department, especially spine, trauma, and orthopaedic emergencies.

      b.      Provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute spine injuries, fractures, dislocations, polytrauma, and orthopaedic emergencies.

      c.       Coordinate with orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthesiologists, radiology, ICU, and operation theatre teams.

      d.      Ensure proper triage, stabilization (Airway, Breathing, Circulation), and emergency procedures.

      e.       Maintain accurate medical documentation, emergency reports, and handover notes.

      f.       Oversee emergency duty roster and guide junior medical officers and paramedics.

      g.       Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and emergency medical guidelines.

      h.      Handle medico-legal cases according to hospital policy and legal requirements.

      Provide leadership during mass casualty or critical emergency situations
