Experience:

• The candidate must hold a Diploma in Power or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, second division, or an equivalent academic standing.

• Have to be proficient in motor controls, including VFDs and PLCs

• Must have in-depth understanding of power distribution, instrumentation, and electrical power consumption

• Must be skilled in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints

• Must be experienced in identifying and resolving electrical issues through effective troubleshooting

• Must have strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes

• Must have knowledge of various types of motor starters and their circuit diagrams, sensors (Inductive, capacitive, photoelectric etc. various types of circuit breakers, relays, cables etc.

• Must have strong machinery troubleshooting and problem-solving knowledge

• Must have knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to equipment maintenance

• Able to carry out assigned tasks independently

• Must have demonstrated ability to work in a team and to develop networks and collaborations accordingly

• Must have demonstrated safeguarding ethics and integrity

• Have to work under stress situation

• Perform general electrical maintenance and mechanical adjustments if required, using proper tools as instructed by the Team Leader.

• Perform routine inspections of transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to ensure maximum reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.

• Fabricate panel boards, perform wiring according to approved circuit diagrams, and repair or replace faulty equipment and wiring.

• Respond immediately to breakdowns, diagnose faults accurately, and carry out effective repairs with the fastest possible resolution to meet production and stakeholder requirements.

• Maintain maintenance records, optimize spare parts usage, coordinate with production teams, and initiate at least one annual improvement to reduce cost or improve response time.

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
