Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of automated poultry systems, including feeding, egg collection, ventilation, cooling, and climate control systems.
Oversee maintenance of supporting facilities such as manure-based fertilizer processing units, egg packing systems, and egg tray washing systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC/automation-related faults efficiently.
Monitor and maintain power systems including LT panels, distribution systems, and diesel generators with synchronization.
Track and optimize energy consumption, including diesel usage, solar generation, and overall power efficiency.
Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Supervise and manage maintenance technicians and support staff to ensure timely and effective task execution.
Maintain detailed records and reports including maintenance logs, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance analysis.
Prepare and monitor operational reports such as diesel consumption, load shedding records, solar generation, and monthly power usage at the fertilizer plant.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and farm biosecurity protocols.
