Additional Requirements:
∎ Drone Operator have the following experience to operate DJI Matrix 350:
∎ 1. Flight Specifications:
∎ Point cloud density: Around 500
∎ Ortho GSD: 2.5 to 5 cm
∎ Flight mode: Lidar mode
∎ Flight altitude: Within 100m to 150m
∎ Pulse: 240,000 pt/s
∎ Overlap rate: 80%
∎ Terrain follows mode if possible.
∎ 2. RTK Requirements:
∎ Exact location and vertical height of RTK standing pole needed.
∎ Information on geographic features or permanent objects around the RTK location for future data acquisition.
∎ Take pictures every time RTK is set up.
∎ Note on every drone flight regarding flight time, specifications, and any abandoned flights due to technical errors.
∎ 3. Post-Flight Requirements:
∎ Allocate half an hour after each flight for data processing.
∎ Confirm the capture of drone data after every flight, considering sensitivity to water bodies and potential noise from dust and wind.
∎ 4. Equipment Requirements:
∎ Use the required micro SD card for Zenmuse L2 with sequential writing speed above 30mb/s.
∎ Follow website guidelines for details.
∎ 5. Flight Path Design:
∎ Adjust flight altitude if needed, ensuring no compromise on overlap.
∎ Design boundary flights with a 20% excess to avoid areas with no overlap in lidar data.
∎ Use RTK points in UAV lidar flying paths for better accuracy, attempting flights from different directions.
∎ Collect test data at various flying altitudes, ensuring similar ground heights at boundaries.
∎ 6. General Note:
∎ Despite the stringent requirements, maintain them for better academic integrity when collecting data.
