• 2 to 3 years

• Masters

• Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. (Educational qualification may be relaxed for experienced candidates).

• Age 30 to 40 years

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in the NGO sector, preferably in health or community mobilization programs.

• Age is relaxable for highly qualified candidates.

• Strong leadership, planning, and reporting skills

• Proficient in computer use (MS Office, Excel)

Background:

Sachetan Society is a national non-government development organization implementing the Gold Star Member (GSM) Initiative under the Community Mobilization Program with financial and technical support from Social Marketing Company (SMC) in 29 upazilas across 16 districts.

The program aims to increase health awareness among the population, create demand for essential health products, boost sales, and ensure access to quality health, nutrition, family planning, and maternal care services.

Job Purpose:

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the District Manager (DM) will be responsible for implementing, supervising, and reporting on all project activities at the district level. S/he will provide technical and administrative support to Upazila Supervisors, Paramedics, and Community Mobilizers, and maintain effective coordination with government and non-government stakeholders.

Employment Type: Full-time (1-year contractual, renewable based on performance).

Workplace: District-level office under the Community Mobilization Program.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and monitor project activities at the district level.

• Review field activities and prepare progress reports.

• Ensure effective logistics and supply management.

• Train, guide, and supervise field staff.

• Develop health product sales plans and assist in achieving sales targets.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Maintain liaison with government and other relevant stakeholders.
