Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Masters in Computer Application (MCA) in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering
∎ Candidates having professional certificates, relevant workplace experiences, excellent communication and leadership skills will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing and overseeing SMART ICT infrastructure and services for the students and employees of the university
∎ Ensuring strategic capacity planning, innovations in services and introduction of new technologies
∎ Managing all or part of the IT department, including directly supervising some employees, hiring certain members, and handling employees’ concerns and performances, etc.
∎ Communicating with the technology team and other departments as collaboration requires
∎ Determining professional requirements for IT systems
∎ Identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security
∎ Directing and supporting the implementation of new software and hardware
∎ Identifying and recommending new technology solutions for website, software and network services
∎ Managing the organization’s help desk (internal, external, or both) and support services
∎ Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with little or no downtime
∎ Overseeing departmental finances, including budgeting and forecasting
∎ Implementing executive policies to enhance quality of IT services to the students, faculty members and administrative officers of the university
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 12 years’ experience in relevant field in any reputed university/organization with at least 05 years’ experience as Deputy Director or equivalent position.
