Experience:

• At least 20 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): College, NGO, Hospital

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• MBBS, MPH or, M.Phil. degree in healthcare Management administration, Business administration, or a vast healthcare related field is required with excellent academic background and other job related professional qualifications from recognized organizations or, Institutions.

• At least 20 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): College, NGO, Hospital

• Age At most 55 years

• At least 20(twenty) years of experience in healthcare management. Minimum 10(ten) years experience as Senior Management level in the healthcare related field.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required. Director, Hospital should also have strong financial management skills and knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, like epidemiology, health policy, and biostatistics etc.

• Director, Hospital should be committed to patient care and safety.

• Director, Hospital manages and runs a hospital, ensuring that all parts of the hospital are in place and that staff work together to provide high-quality healthcare environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies

• A strong commitment to patient care and safety

• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and aims.

• Age: Up to 55 years. Age is relaxed for high experienced candidates.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a National NGO having Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and UNESCO. It works for social and spiritual development of the human community. Founded by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.), an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi. The founding motto of DAM is ‘Divine and Humanitarian Service’, over last 65 years DAM has been serving the human community for improved living conditions enhancing people’s capacities to maximally utilize their inner potentials. DAM has been contributing to the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating various institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital, Uttara, Dhaka, is one of the institutions of the DAM, aiming to provide high-standard quality healthcare services including cancer treatment and general health services to the general population at a reasonable price. It’s a well-equipped diagnosis service along with a pharmacy setup. Hospital is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Director, Hospital at Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital, Uttara, Dhaka.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the hospital`s overall operations, including finances, human resources, strategy, and patient care

• Ensuring high quality of patient care

• Implementing clinical policies and procedures

• Hiring and ensuring qualified staff

• Maintaining documentation

• Evaluating clinical activities of medical staff

• Develop and implement policies and protocols for hospital operations& also recognition

• Manage hospital budgets and finances

• Hire and supervise medical and administrative staff

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with community organizations and healthcare providers within the catchment area

• Implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction

• Develop and implement emergency response plans

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective measures where necessary

• Develop strategies and initiatives to achieve hospital objectives and also goals

• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to healthcare industry standards

• Collaborate with other hospital executives and high-level management to ensure the hospital`s activities are integrated and aligned with the overall organization objectives

• Develop budgets, allocate resources, and manage finances to ensure the hospital`s financial stability

• Recruit, train, and manage a competent and effective team of hospital staff
