Design & Artwork Creation

• Interpret client briefs:
• Translate client requirements and brand guidelines into visual designs for woven labels. 
• Create design artwork:
• Develop original designs, logos, and patterns, often using specialized software such as Adobe Illustrator and MuCAD. 
• Select materials and aesthetics:
• Determine appropriate yarn types, weave quality, colors, and finishes to align with the design and client brand identity. 

Production & Technical Aspects

• Prepare technical files:
• Create and modify production files and weaving programs for jacquard looms, ensuring they are accurate for manufacturing. 
• Ensure production feasibility:
• Work with the production and sampling teams to ensure designs are technically feasible, practical, and cost-effective to produce. 
• Oversee sampling:
• Provide design inputs during the sampling process and review development for corrections. 
• Coordinate with manufacturing:
• Liaise with manufacturing teams to understand materials, processes, and machine capabilities. 

Collaboration & Management

• Communicate with stakeholders:
• Collaborate closely with clients, sales teams, merchandisers, and production staff to ensure design accuracy and adherence to requirements. 
• Manage projects:
• Handle multiple design tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain an organized system for tracking and filing designs. 
• Maintain quality control:
• Review designs for errors and ensure final products meet aesthetic and technical standards before production.
