Job Context:
∎ A dermatologist is to plays a key role in consulting and diagnosing skin problems. He is to advise treatment plans and monitor the progress of said treatment plan. Duties and responsibilities of the desired dermatologist at refugee camp level hospital at Bashan char will include.
∎ Working Place: Bhasanchar, Noakhali
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessing patients' skin diseases, conditions, and ailments to determine the appropriate treatment
∎ Prescribing medication and creating treatment plans, referring patients for surgery where necessary
∎ Monitoring patient progress
∎ Assessing and updating patients' medical history, including keeping a record of patients' symptoms
∎ Informing and educating patients on available treatments and preventative skincare
∎ Refer patients to specialists in other fields if necessary.
∎ Keeping up to date with new medical procedures, topics, and scientific studies by attending seminars, conferences, and training programs
∎ Adhering to infection-control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees
∎ Special Note:
∎ Carry out any additional assignment in accordance with her/his position entrusted by the Health Coordinator of GK from time to time and mutually agreed upon;
∎ Management may, at any point in time, modify this job description as it is deemed necessary in Gonoshastha Kendra's interests in consultation with an incumbent.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Help Collection and compilation of daily and weekly epidemiological data
∎ Support and supervision of other health Staff (Medical Assistants/Paramedics/Nurse/Others).
∎ Prepare need assessment of necessary drugs, material, and equipment for consultations
∎ Give individual health education related to the patient's disease
∎ Manage emergency cases according to GK/UNHCR protocols and regulation
∎ Refer cases according to GK/UNHCR pathway and procedure
∎ Ensure patient confidentiality is respected and treat all the patients with respect and design
Salary: Tk. 147000 (Monthly)
