Job Context
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our Accounts & Finance team as Assistant / Deputy Manager (Project). The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring effective financial planning, coordination, and monitoring of project-related activities. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to maintain accurate financial records, support project decision-making, and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
Assist in preparing cost estimates, pricing proposals, and profitability analyses for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Monitor project timelines and financial milestones, ensuring alignment with the recovery schedule.
Maintain updated records of project costs, invoices, and payments; ensure timely billing and collections.
Communicate regularly with internal departments (procurement, operations, sales) and external vendors to ensure accurate documentation and approvals.
Prepare periodic financial summaries and reports for project reviews, management reporting, and audits.
Collaborate with the finance team for monthly closing, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Support the development of recovery plans and monitor project-related financial KPIs.

Educational Requirements
Master’s in Business Studies / MBA (Major in Accounting or Finance preferred).
Professional certification (CMA – 1200 level completed / CA Professional Level) will be considered an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance (preferably in project finance, construction, engineering, or large-scale business operations).
Additional Requirements
Strong financial and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Sound knowledge of MS Excel, ERP software, and financial tools.
