Educational Requirements:
∎ Post graduation degree from Business faculty from any Public University.
∎ North South University/ East West University/ Independent University of Bangladesh/ Bangladesh University of Professionals/ BRAC University will also preferable.
∎ CA partly qualified.
∎ BBA & MMBA, EMBA, MPA/MPF from Dhaka University, IPT (Income Tax Practitioner) will have added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute, monitor and manage Tax, VAT and Customs related works as well as able to maintain all VAT related Books of Accounts of a trading concern.
∎ Maintain Tax & VAT Deduction at Source (TDS & VDS).
∎ Maintain close liaison with Tax, VAT & Customs circle and division, Head Quarter as well as Inspector, Super, DC and other related personnel.
∎ Handle VAT & Customs audit conducted by Govt. and other respective authorities. VAT audit reply and explanation drafting.
∎ Ensure proper compliance with Income Tax ordinance 1984. Proposed Tax law 2023, VAT Act and rules, Customs Act 1969.
∎ Maintain proper compliance as per the Bangladesh VAT Act.
∎ Ensure proper preparation and submission of Online VAT Returns
∎ Conduct auditing of VAT books of records and Engage with the VAT authority for submission.
∎ Monitoring and Implementation of compliance as per VAT ACT 2012.
∎ Administering appeal, Tribunal at different appeal authority.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (Mushok - 9.1) and other related documents as such Mushok - 4.3, Mushok - 6.3, Mushok - 6.4, Mushok - 6.6, Mushok - 6.10 as per new VAT & SD Act 2012 & Rule 2016 & also has to keep these records in NBR approved VAT software and own MS Excel.
∎ Prepare Income Tax returns and report to different Taxes Zone.
∎ Preparation and Submission of with holding tax return (Under section – 75A) on time.
∎ Preparation of necessary statement/ documents for Tax Assessment.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Must have good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
∎ Must have good communication skill in both Bangla & English.
