• Graduate in Industrial & Production Engineering or Textile Engineering from a well reputed institute.

• At least 10 years

• At least 10 years’ experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC), preferably from a reputed buying office.

• Must have advanced reporting skills in MS Excel and ERP.

• Should have excellent Production Management capability.

• Strong technical knowledge in Planning, SOP and Merchandising.

Job Context

• The Deputy Manager – Production, Planning and Control (PPC) holds the accountability for working closely with the merchandising and quality team of designated business unit and respective partner factories from initial order placements till shipment execution for optimizing order execution timeline and capacity control to meet the delivery deadlines of the customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Consolidate and review order booking status, analyzing orders to optimize factory allocations.

• Initiate and implement Time & Action (TNA) plans with factory merchants based on shipment dates.

• Collaborate closely with ZXY Merchandisers to ensure adequate production lead-time.

• Revise initial TNA/Workflow when discrepancies are identified in shipment dates.

• Monitor Workflow progress with factory, QM/QC, and merchandisers to secure on-time shipment.

• Check ERP system for pending Workflow event updates from the ZXY merchant team.

• Collect Micro Production Plans (MPP) from factories, evaluating capacity allocation and identifying associated risks.

• Finalize MPP with necessary approvals for sales contract issuance.

• Track MPP regularly to ensure adherence to shipment timelines.

• Coordinate with factories to ensure timely in-housing of fabrics, yarns, trims, and accessories.

• Escalate exceptions or bottlenecks to Business Unit/Factory for effective troubleshooting and smooth production.

• Maintain accurate planning records and dashboards for management review.

• Provide data-driven insights to support management in strategic decision-making.
