• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales or a technical consultant role, with a strong focus on server and storage technologies. For suitable candidates we might consider the experience.

• In-depth knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, and enterprise IT infrastructure (e.g., RAID levels, storage tiers, backup technologies).

• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure).

• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and provide expert technical guidance.

• Certifications like HPE ASE, Dell EMC Proven Professional, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, Red Hat & Microsoft or equivalent are a plus.

  Star Tech and Engineering Ltd., a leading corporate IT solution provider in our country, is currently seeking an experienced individual for the position of Deputy Manager/Manager, Pre Sales – Server, Storage, Virtualization & Backup Solution.

  The selected individual will play a key role in supporting the sales team by designing and delivering tailored solutions. The role involves understanding customer requirements, designing appropriate infrastructure solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing proposals to address client needs.

  Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand their business and technical requirements for server and storage solutions.

  • Provide technical consultancy on various server and storage architectures (e.g., SAN, NAS, DAS).

  • Stay updated with the latest technologies from vendors like Dell, HPE, Cisco, NetApp, etc.

  • Design and configure server, storage, and backup solutions to meet customer requirements.

  • Create and deliver comprehensive technical proposals, including solution descriptions, Bill of Materials (BOM), and cost analysis.

  • Customize solutions based on workload, performance, and scalability needs.

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer opportunities and develop technical strategies.

  • Participate in customer meetings, calls, and discussions to support sales teams.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights on product differentiators.

  • Deliver presentations, live demonstrations, and PoCs to showcase the capabilities and benefits of server and storage solutions.

  • Lead and support PoC implementations at customer sites to validate proposed solutions.

  • Collaborate with technology vendors to stay updated on the latest product developments.

  • Work with OEMs and distributors to ensure proper solution configuration and pricing.

  • Provide training and technical enablement to internal sales teams and customers on server and storage solutions.

  • Assist in the development of sales tools and resources, such as technical documentation and product collateral.
