Responsibilities & Context:
We are hiring skilled, Fresher and motivated Technicians to support Optical Fiber Cable Operation & Maintenance activities. The selected candidates will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and restoration of fiber optic networks to ensure uninterrupted telecommunication services.
Job Responsibilities
Perform optical fiber cable installation, operation, maintenance, and restoration work.
Conduct fiber splicing, jointing, testing, and fault detection using standard tools.
Identify and troubleshoot network issues including cable cuts and signal loss.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber optic networks.
Support emergency breakdown and restoration activities.
Maintain technical logs, reports, and documentation of work performed.
Coordinate with patrollers and field teams for smooth operations.
Ensure safety procedures and company standards are strictly followed.
Educational Requirements
SSC / HSC with relevant technical experience may apply.
Fresher may also apply.
Experience Requirements
Experience in Optical Fiber / Telecom Network / FTTH / Transmission maintenance preferred.
Freshers with technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
Basic knowledge of fiber optic tools (OTDR, power meter, splicing machine, etc.).
Willingness to work in field conditions and emergency situations.
Physically fit for outdoor technical work.
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
Basic smartphone usage for reporting and communication.
