Experience:
Continuously monitor and follow up on the dyeing plan sheet.
Ensure that each production batch meets its target delivery schedule.
Align machine planning with the production and delivery timeline.
Maintain consistent shade, fastness, and fabric quality standards.
Take corrective action in case of deviation.
Perform cost analysis to reduce dyeing cost per kg without affecting quality. Ensure cost efficiency in salt, soda, chemical, and dyestuff usage.
Motivate Assistant Managers, Executives, and Shift In-charges to maintain performance.
Conduct team briefings and encourage proactive problem-solving.
Ensure proper manpower allocation across all shifts
Ensure timely approval of lab dips.
Develop new shades and fabrics as per buyer and merchandiser requirements.
Coordinate with the lab for recipe confirmation and shade reproducibility.
Achieve monthly and yearly dyeing production targets as set by management.
Ensure cost control and minimize wastage. Monitor productivity (kg/hour, m/c efficiency).
Manage manpower allocation, machine maintenance scheduling, and shift planning.
Provide technical and safety training to subordinates. Ensure smooth machine operation and reduce downtime.
Prepare, review, and update the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for dyeing.
Ensure strict compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
Monitor whether each batch is dyed according to set procedures.
Ensure dyeing follows the PCD (Process Control Data) or dyeing plan issued by the planning department.
Maintain close coordination with planning, maintenance, finishing, and QA departments.
Ensure timely batch release and delivery.
Monitor subcontract dyeing parties.
Ensure garments buyers' plan and delivery schedules are achieved.
Maintain communication with outside dye houses for progress and quality updates.
Handle communication with foreign technical experts or consultants if any technical issue arises.
