Educational Requirements:
∎ A Qualified Chartered Accountant having CPA/ FCA/ FCCA qualification
∎ MBA/ Post-graduation having major in Finance/ Accounting from a reputed University

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supporting the CFO in aligning financial planning and strategy with business planning and company strategy, including multi-year budgets, trend analysis, and scenarios modeling.
∎ Providing overall leadership to the finance team and ensure that financial reporting is delivered in line with company policies, standards and applicable rules and regulations.
∎ Analyzing and evaluating the financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances.
∎ Managing of the Group's asset and liabilities with the objective to minimize the Group's financial risks and exposure.
∎ Ensuring Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) related reports for every month end and coordinate with Group Treasury.
∎ To act as alternate to CFO in ALCO from time to time.
∎ Overseeing and managing the annual budgeting process, regular forecasting, and other analysis as required.
∎ Leading role in managing and supervising the preparation of the consolidated management accounts and financial statements of the Group in line with IFRS.
∎ Managing the external audit programme to ensure that the consolidated financial statements align with IFRS and regulatory standards in the UK.
∎ Managing the Group's finance and accounting function on a day-to-day basis.
∎ Working with CFO to ensure compliance with the uniform system of accounts for the microfinance industry and IFRS by leading and directing the finance and accounts department.
∎ Ensuring the financial infrastructure is stable and supports the demands of future growth.
∎ Working with CFO to ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including tax.
∎ Delivering accurate financial reports and analysis to the Board and Executive team, supporting effective financial management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Senior management experience in finance or accounting
∎ Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and trend monitoring.
∎ Having in-depth knowledge of IFRS standards
∎ Experience in major international accounting or management consulting firm or multinational firm
∎ Banking or microfinance experience would be an advantage.
∎ Sound knowledge of finance and accounting principles, external audit, international tax laws and best practices
∎ Senior leadership in strategic financial management
∎ Solid knowledge on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
∎ Treasury and currency exchange management experience would be an advantage
∎ Board reporting and program management experience
∎ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills
∎ Strong leadership and change management skills
∎ Strong organizational and ethical acumen
∎ High proficiency level in verbal and written English
∎ Might be required to travel.

Salary: Tk. 500000 - 750000 (Monthly)
