Responsibilities & Context:
- To Provide qualitative dental service to the patient.
- Prescribe Medicines that are available in indoor supply and also prescribe those medications that are accessible & affordable for the patients.
- Availing existing Laboratory investigational facilities including Dental X-ray in regular clinical service.
- To manage any emergency patient and refer as per the condition of the patient.
- To Inform and disseminate program activities to the community leaders, allied persons, and FCMs through outreach and BCC team.
- To attend Training on Infection Prevention Practice.
- To attend Capacity, build up sessions/Training on Clinical aspects arranged by Program Manager.
- To attend Monthly Coordination meetings organized by the program Manager regarding Conflict management, other domestic problems, and decision-making.
- To attend Monthly meetings with regarding Clinical Issues, monthly performance, and visits.
- Coordination with local chairmen, village doctors, teachers, and another relevant local stakeholders.
- Education/Competencies (Specifications):
- Diploma in Dental Technology from Government recognized institute.
- Minimum 2/3 years of working experience.
- To autoclave dental instruments for sterilization- Daily.
- Organize school programs for screening and treatment.
- To attend Dental surgery camp for post-operative, follow-up of the patient.
- To make a daily quality checklist with ensuring Dental assets status (functional or not) – Daily.
- To maintain Patient Records Register-Daily.
- To maintain a Secondary Dental camp register to record patients’ details for further query.
- To prepare and send monthly dental service data to MIS through Program Manager.
- To counsel patient and patient attendance regarding Dental surgical procedures and take consent for Minor operations and tooth extraction.
- To attend a specialized dental consultancy camp as an assistant to the consultant.
- To check and provide Dental camp medicine requisition to Program Manager considering medicines quality and cost-effectiveness.
