Training/Certification in MSSQL DBA is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Extensive Hands-on Experience: Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft SQL Server versions 2016 through 2025.
• Database Backup and Recovery: Strong expertise in implementing and managing database backup processes, recovery strategies, and high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions for SQL Server environments.
• System Installation and Maintenance: Working experience with operating systems (Windows Server 2016–2022), and supporting software.
• Advanced Problem-Solving: Excellent skills in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and issue resolution using SQL and T-SQL.
• ETL & Data Migration: Proven ability to execute ETL processes and manage data migrations across various database systems.
• Reporting & Business Intelligence Tools: Familiarity in utilizing reporting and BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Cloud Database Platforms: Working knowledge of cloud database offerings on Azure, AWS, or similar cloud service providers.
• Cross-Platform Database Administration: Understanding of administration for other database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
• Excellent communication skill in English.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Dynamic individuals having the following Qualities:

Overview of the Responsibilities

• Administration of Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) installation and management

• Planning, implementation, and assurance of database backup and disaster recovery strategies

• Performance analysis and optimization of database environments

• Monitoring databases, with setup of notifications and alerting systems

• Ensuring database security through robust access controls and best practices

• Designing, configuring, and administering Always on Availability Groups (AOAG) and database clustering for high availability

• Configuration and management of database mirroring, log shipping, replication, and database cloning

• Scripting with T-SQL, PowerShell, and development of stored procedures, triggers, and indexes, including index tuning

• Troubleshooting performance issues using SQL Server Profiler, Database Engine Tuning Advisor, and SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer (DPA)
