Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and processing of customs-related import and export documentation.
Coordination with Customs, airport authorities, freight forwarders, airlines, and clearing & forwarding (C&F) agents.
Ensuring compliance with Customs regulations, HS Code classification, and import/export policies.
Managing customs clearance for air cargo shipments at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Preparing shipping documents, including Air Waybill (AWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Entry, and other required documents.
Coordinating with government agencies and stakeholders to ensure timely cargo release.
Monitoring cargo movements and maintaining accurate operational records.
Ensuring compliance with Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), Customs, and airline operational requirements.
Handling customer service, cargo operations, and logistics coordination.
Maintaining effective communication with customs officials, airlines, and clients to ensure smooth cargo operations.
