Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Country Manager focused on the Bangladesh market with a deep understanding of the local payment infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing our partner network, onboarding traders, monitoring the regulatory landscape, and operationally supporting the launch of the company’s payment products in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, source, and connect with local partners and teams working with digital wallet payments in the Bangladesh market;

  • Reach out to companies and networks embedded in the local payment infrastructure and mobile financial services (MFS);

  • Assist in verifying and testing payment solutions in the local market;

  • Monitor news, trends, updates, and specific compliance details of the Bangladeshi payment market, delivering critical insights to the core team;

  • Provide operational and logistical support for the company’s launch and ongoing activities in Bangladesh;

  • Translate documents, correspondence, and operational materials from English to Bengali and vice versa;

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing local partners;

  • Gather qualitative feedback from partners and end-users;

  • Actively participate in product launch and development initiatives alongside the global team.

What We Expect From You:

  • Language proficiency: Bengali – C1 (Native/Fluent); English – B1 and above;

  • Market expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Bangladesh’s payment infrastructure, including mobile financial services (MFS) methods, agent networks, and the banking system;

  • Operational knowledge: Understanding of legal onboarding and business registration procedures in Bangladesh;

  • Industry awareness: Solid grasp of the specifics and operational logic of the high-risk vertical.

Will Be a Plus:

  • Prior experience in local payment processing, a high-risk payment gateway, or acting as a P2P trader;

  • Proven track record of identifying and establishing connections with MFS distribution houses;

  • Direct network and active contacts within bKash, Nagad, or Upay corporate/regional teams;

  • Experience in providing legal or administrative support for company formation in Bangladesh.
