Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CMA/ACCA/CPA) – Partly Qualified or Qualified will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

We are looking for proactive and analytical professionals to join our Enterprise Cost & Budget Performance Management (ECBPM) team as Cost Controllers. The role will be responsible for monitoring operational costs, inventory, production efficiency, budget compliance, and performance reporting at the SBU level to support effective decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports covering manufacturing, commercial, inventory, and operational costs.

  • Monitor actual costs against budget and standard costs and highlight significant variances.

  • Verify raw material consumption, production yields, wastage, utility usage, and labor costs on a regular basis.

  • Conduct inventory reconciliation, monitor stock movements, and investigate inventory discrepancies.

  • Support budget preparation, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting activities.

  • Ensure accurate recording of CAPEX, CWIP, and fixed assets, and support timely capitalization of completed projects.

  • Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams to collect, validate, and analyze cost data.

  • Ensure compliance with costing policies, internal controls, ERP transactions, and reporting requirements.

  • Provide timely insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
