Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, publications and websites. Your words will inform and engage target audiences.
∎ Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we`d like to meet you.
∎ Submit up to three writing samples, so we can get an idea of your best work. Feel free to include links to your content or portfolio in your application.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
∎ Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
∎ Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
∎ Conduct high-quality research and interviews
∎ Edit and proofread copy as needed
∎ Use SEO principles to maximize copy's reach
∎ Source images and other content
∎ Meeting with account executives to discuss the client's requirements and core messages familiarizing themselves with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
∎ Brainstorming ideas and concepts for the visual and words with other members of the creative team
∎ Presenting initial ideas to the creative director, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts
∎ Writing various copy options, which may be presented to the client as a story board (a consecutive series of frames depicting the script and drawings that may be used)
∎ Modifying copy until the client is satisfied
∎ Overseeing the production phase, booking and liaising with designers, illustrators, printers, photographers and production companies
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Article writing, Content writer, Content writing, Copy writing/ Script Writing, Creative content writing, Digital Content Development, Social Advancement
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Advertising Ageny, Design/Printing/Publishing, Software Company
∎ Be highly creative and imaginative, and curious about clients' products or services
∎ Be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
∎ Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets
∎ Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Work well in a team and with a range of creative people
∎ Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
∎ Be highly self-motivated and well organized
∎ Be able to see other people's points of view and take on board feedback
∎ Work within strict budgets
∎ Have an eye for detail
∎ Possess good leadership, people and project management skills.
