Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s with four year honor's in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)/Software Engineering from a recognized University. Any professional degree from public or foreign Institution/University would be an advantage.

Job Context:
∎ SKS Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working in Bangladesh since 1987 with poor and marginalized population including char dwellers, ethnic minority, landless and marginal farmers, disaster and climate vulnerable households. It works with multidisciplinary approach with a mission to improve social, economic and environmental facts of life of the poor and marginalized population by reducing their exposure to climate and disaster risks and improving access to development opportunities and resources.
∎ SKS Foundation is committed to improve and expand the current level of use of computer software in managing its microfinance programme; and has been looking for a dynamic, committed and self-driven IT experts in the position of ‘IT Coordinator’ to be based in Gaibandha.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the MF Programme IT team of SKS Foundation and supervise/guide day-to-day work of the team members, especially their technical inputs and outputs.
∎ Advise with evidence and analysis in decision making by senior management about software and hardware related issues.
∎ Equip new branch with hardware and software readiness and make sure that users are trained on the use of software, data entry, consolidation, balancing and reporting.
∎ Organise and supervise hardware procurement and maintenance services; and identify gaps in existing services and quality.
∎ Identify potential vendors and right kind of products/solutions in the market and ensure quality control during procurement of hardware and software items.
∎ Monitor functional performance of microfinance operation with software at branch and head office level; and identify training needs of the software users.
∎ Coordinate and negotiate with software service providers about performance problem and new service requirements.
∎ Manage and update existing servers, operating systems and internet services for microfinance in consultation with software service provider.
∎ Design simple software driven systems to reduce manual operation of the management functions including data management and electronic archiving.
∎ Arrange any kind of trouble shooting with hardware and software systems and make sure that problems are fixed within shortest possible time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good leadership qualities with proven track record of managing, coaching and motivating junior technical experts towards building a high performing team.
∎ Understanding of NGO culture and microfinance programme including their indicators of performance is needed.
∎ Ability to motivate others, uphold organizational values, promote integrity and relate own role and outputs with organizational mission and vision.
∎ Personal integrity, flexible attitude, sense of transparency, proactive stance and respect for gender, safeguarding, and child rights.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
∎ After confirmation salary will be 70, 200 taka per month.
