To lead this challenging journey Surjer Hashi Network invites applications from competent and potential talents for the Consultant - Stakeholder Relations position to be located at SHN Headquarter.
∎ Job Location : Head Quarter, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and nurture relations with relevant government offices (DGHS, DGDA, MoHFW, NBR, MOC, SB, NSI, MOHA etc.), other stakeholders, funding partners/agencies, corporate stakeholders and other key parties.
∎ Develop in-depth plans and major milestones in line with top management requirements for stakeholder management
∎ Obtain all necessary authorization from government/local authorities before launching new initiatives
∎ Internally coordinate on key policy change requirements and applications.
∎ Write proposals and coordinate with GoB, other donor authorities to explore funding opportunities
∎ Ensure that foreign funded projects being supported and/or implemented by SHN are approved by the necessary GoB authorities.
∎ Ensure compliance to the government requirements in terms of project approval start up activities, yearly fund release and reporting requirements to facilitate SHN's continuous operation.
∎ Attend key meetings at field level, relevant secretariates, ministries and funding agencies, whenever the situation demands
∎ Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 38 years
∎ Masters in English, Mass Communication, Management or any other discipline from a reputed university.
∎ A minimum of 8-10 years' work experience in similar position
∎ Experience of working with GoB and donors is preferred. (Retired GoB officials from Health Ministry may apply)
∎ Excellent knowledge on legal requirements of Government bodies for operation of INGOs or Donor funded organization within Bangladesh.
∎ Proven ability and skills to conceive, analyze, develop and execute medium-to-long term strategies and campaigns to deal with complex issues, policy and law, involving multiple issues and players.
∎ Years of experience may be considered/relaxed in case of highly deserving candidates.
