Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS)
∎ Master's degree in social welfare studies or related discipline. PhD in relevant field is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)

Job Context:

AECL has been conducting Initial Environment Examination, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plan, Resettlement Action Plan etc., in various fields such as Power Sector, Textile (Dyeing, Printing and Weaving), Pharmaceutical, Oil, Gas & Energy, Fertilizer, Cement, Pulp & Paper, Iron & Steel, Ceramic, Infrastructure, Food Industry, Tannery & Leather, Chemical Industries etc.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring selected projects (Foreign Aided and GoB) and check compliance with project specific Guideline.
∎ Prepare complete report with proper recommendations, suggestions on resettlement plans and resettlement budgets and other resettlement related study.
∎ Reviewing SIA, RAP and other reports and providing recommendation for its acceptance.
∎ Assist in preparation and presentation of training courses on resettlement issues.
∎ Cary out field visits for preparing report of ongoing projects.
∎ Planning and execution of field investigation works for resettlement plans and resettlement budget related report preparation.
∎ Provide necessary guidelines and checking of Social Impact Assessment of ongoing projects.
∎ Identify social issues and constraints of project planning stage and suggest alternative options.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proficient on Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) related reports.
∎ Knowledge of world Bank/ADB or any other foreign aided projects regarding Social issues.

Salary: Tk. 100000 - 120000 (Monthly)
