Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture/Agro technology or similar discipline
∎ Strong in written and verbal English and Bangla communications.
∎ Have proven computer skills on MS word, Excel, Power point, ACESS, SPSS, GIS.

Agriculture, Agriculture Project, agro based farm, Field of Agriculture and Dairy Firm
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position will support, guide assessing, selecting, planning, facilitate training, and implementation of integrated farming Animal, Vegetable, Fruits and others.
∎ The position will develop Agro-processing components of larger program proposal and strategies.
∎ He/ She will Assess potentials and develop mechanism for market linkage and networking with Private Sectors.
∎ Introduce the community with available government service provisions and channels.
∎ Organize capacity development sessions for local partner and project staff.
∎ Ensure timely and effective communication and coordinate with department of Agricultural Extension and other relevant stakeholders in designing and implementation of project activities.
∎ The consultant will lead in national-level specific livestock/Animal farming, Agriculture activities through reviewing various documents and evaluating data for the agriculture and livestock sector.
∎ The consultant will provide further support in developing tools and guidelines to support climate-smart agriculture and livestock/Farming Animal.
∎ Identify, develop and implement short and long-term strategic direction and plans.
∎ Identify new business opportunities to grow and maximize business revenues.
∎ Document and map ongoing work in the agro-processing sector both nationally and regionally,
∎ Facilitate and provide guidance to farmers on appropriate cropping patterns, farming techniques, etc.
∎ Responsible for production of celery crops; locating appropriate isolations, plant and seed production, transplanting, growing and seed harvest.
∎ Perform regulatory activities at Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) and Ministry of Agriculture.
∎ Responsible for developing and implementing scouting program for insects and disease for seed crops. He/ She will Analyzing economics of farming.
∎ Understand soil, plants, seeds and products to better understand crop need and implement more effective and efficient farming practice.
∎ Highlighting partnership opportunities for short, medium and longer-term, conducting targeted interviews with key government and private sector partners for validation;
∎ Sound Knowledge in production and distribution of crops and Animal farming.
∎ Assist in the coordination of agricultural needs and activities such as procedural changes, storage, grading, and logistical processes.
∎ Prepare financial and operational documents and analyze market conditions & also on site looking at the maintenance of machines, analyzing soils, determining correct fertilizers, and ensuring production is on schedule.

∎ Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience in Agro-Processing or Agro Industry.
∎ Practical working knowledge on Office management in Computer (MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power Point) & Internet environment.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Agronomy, Horticulture, Farm Management, nursery, plant tissue culture, Project Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based farms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/Genetically Modified Crops).
∎ Knowledge of Agricultural Engineering, Vertical Farming etc.
