1. Plan and coordinate core social activities

• Plan and implement different core social and deeper impact activities such as promotional session, hygiene, civil protection, community mobilization and empowerment.

• Organization of project activities such as meetings, workshops, training, visits, focus group discussion, development activities, etc.

• Assist the team in implementing activities according to BWW’s programme

• Actively liaise with project staff, supervisors and the community

  2. Organization and Implementation of Social Activities

• Conduct different awareness session and training using proper and validated tools and scripts.

• Validate the relevance of the hygiene awareness related messages considering cultural sensitivity and adaptable capacity of beneficiary community

• Conduct regular house visit and follow-up hygiene practice, provide constructive feedback for improvement of hygiene behavior

• Monitor the project activities and progress to achieve target.

  3.    Civil Protection Activities

• Responsible for the coordination of the whole Firefighting activity

• Organize and participate actively to the implementation of community capacity building in terms of security and fire prevention, as well as regular trainings for the volunteers; annual refreshing trainings, monthly mock drills, quarterly fire committee meetings.

• Responsible of the follow-up of the brigades, the volunteers and their equipment, including the design, and implementation of tools to ensure an efficient monitoring of the volunteers and the whole activity

• Conduct inspections of firefighting equipment and record the results in the internal monitoring system. Follow up on any non-conformities.

• Maintain and develop partnerships and good communication with the partners, the responsible of Fire-fighting activities within the committee and other stakeholders.

  4. Stakeholders and community management

• Facilitate the building of good relationships with the community and FSCD

• Facilitate the building of good relationships with relevant stakeholders (local authorities, NGOs etc.)

• 5. Community mobilization, Reinforcement & Social Assistance [Deeper activities]

• Contribute actively to the development of adapted training modules and capacity‑building programmes for WASH committees

• Facilitate training modules to WASH committee members

• Work closely with WASH committees to develop action plans, defining roles and responsibilities, key activities, milestones and timelines

• Support WASH committees in regular strategic meetings to review progress, adjust plans and communicate updates to the community

• Provide hands-on support to WASH committees in day-to-day activities and community initiatives (clean-up, …)

6.  Monitoring and Reporting

• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly work plans in a timely manner and incorporate Line Manager's feedback as required

• Take appropriate picture of activities and save in communication drive

• Encode activities data in internal monitoring and reporting system (Wamasys) on a regular basis

• Prepare budget and financial management regarding activities implementation
