Responsible for:
Capacity building of CHNWs and team leaders/ educators through on-the-job training and feedback as per the CHNWG training calendar, and on a demand basis.
Shadow visit with CHNWs at the household level at least 2 days a week, maintaining a unique checklist (CHNWG approved).
Home visits with CHNWs to households that have several vulnerable sick members to improve the household-based care and practices and create awareness through individual or group counseling on the preventive aspects of diseases.
Organize orientation to the community forums on priority health topics as and when required under the guidance of the medical team leader and CHWG/Health Sector.
Aggregate on a daily/weekly basis and monitor collected forms (Mortality, referrals, livebirth) and improve the way for reporting and recording.
Conduct weekly health education sessions with CHNWs based on the CHWG guideline, and mentor sessions at the community level twice a month.
Assist the CHNWs who have emergency patients in sending them to a clinician for emergency treatment and care.
Coordinate and support CHNWs to work with different units of the health center and other relevant sectors for health education, defaulter tracing and referrals.
Ensure the use of IEC materials for conducting regular health education sessions
Organize and facilitate a regular monthly meeting with other outreach workers in the camp
Help improve the working quality of CHNW.
Lead the discussion of weekly meeting with CHNW who share their concerns and interesting findings. Record the information that CHNW shares.
Help in solving the problems that CHNW raised in the meeting.
Implement the task as per the CHWG/ Health Sector guidance.
Support patients’ follow-up irrespective of the funding agency.
Activities:
Ensure proper infection prevention practices, including housekeeping· Prepare a monthly report.
Any work assigned by the supervisor or programme management team.
Attend all relevant meetings/workshops/training.
Actively take part in mentoring activities organized by Friendship. Excellent Communication skills.
Act always in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

Skill and Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's in Health/Sociology/Anthropology/Food & Nutrition/any other relevant subject, or Diploma in Medical Technology.
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the relevant project. Applicants who have work experience in remote areas will be given preference.
Excellent communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Highly committed & motivated to work in remote places.
