∎ Job Location: UP Field Office- Ukhiya & Teknaf under Cox`s Bazar district
∎ In this context, United Purpose seeks applications from qualified candidates to fill up the following position based in UP Field Office- Cox`s Bazar for one of its projects titled "Improving Community Resilience Through Cooperative Livelihood Actions (ICRA)" funded by IOM to be implemented at FDMNs` sheltered areas and the Unions of Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazilas under Cox`s Bazar district.
∎ The Community Facilitator (CF) is a community based position and assigned to conduct community based consultation, perform basic group formation, livelihood group meeting, training, group orientation, business plan, monitor Cash for Work implementation, data collection and compilation in the areas of resilient and cooperative livelihood, business and entrepreneurship development of women and youths in the project implementation. S/he will conduct need based communication with the beneficiaries to collect data regarding groups, livelihood, production, business extension, and to ensure their participation in programs to foster the producers` exposure in community and market.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure project have better plan to achieve their goals
∎ Conduct monthly work plan to accomplish the assigned activities at the field level.
∎ Conduct Baseline Survey, Market survey, Beneficiaries Selection, Formation of Self-Help and Youths Groups, and ensure the participants of Skill, TVET, ICT, Career skill, leadership, etc. trainings
∎ Regular field visit, organize and conduct group meeting, and facilitate the groups for their business and livelihood development
∎ Facilitate the youths and women producers for their business plan development in access to livelihood grant support
∎ Monitor the target producers are in track according to their business plan.
∎ Organize and conduct the training of entrepreneurs and business development
∎ Organize and conduct community based orientations on behavioural change & nutrition, social cohesion, peace building, conflict prevention, early marriage, trafficking & GBV, SRHR, DRR, etc.
∎ Facilitate in active engagement of community peoples, DRR and RRAP in business development.
∎ Select and monitor the Small Scale Mitigation Works and Beneficiaries selection for Cash for Work.
∎ Identify the logistics in production, hygiene and safety measurement for entrepreneurs' development and ensure the requirements of business development thereby.
∎ Facilitate the livelihood and youths groups in access to the services UNO, LGI's, ISCG, CiC, clusters, sector's, DAE, DLS, DFO, DYD, DWA, MFIs, LSPs, Pravets, Inputs and outputs; companies & retailors, traders, etc. for viable institutional linkage of producers
∎ Regular visit the producers groups, and facilitate them for the linkage with the public and private sectors and markets.
∎ To ensure the effective coordination and communication, compliances and documentation:
∎ Conduct regular communication with beneficiaries and facilitate them in communication with DAE, DLS, DFO, DYD, DWA, MFIs, LSPs, Pravets, Inputs and outputs companies & retailors, traders, etc. for viable institutional linkage of producers.
∎ Prepare monthly activity reports and submit to the line manager
∎ Accomplish individual and collective assignments provided by the line manager.
∎ Supporting the groups to enable them to give of their best e.g. by encouraging and praising good performance, and to prevent or resolve problems, providing resources, tools and equipment.
∎ Enabling a friendly collaborative working culture within the team, actively sharing information and knowledge to enable the team to ensure effective learning and sharing across the organization;
∎ Ensure the logistic and financial management in conducting the activities

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years' working experience in the same or equivalent position in the relevant field of social development, emergency response and DRM issue. Experience within a national or international organization essential.
∎ Practical experience and better understanding of youths and livelihood group formation and livelihood development, FDMNs and host community situations in Cox's Bazar district
∎ Good communication skills (oral and written) with community and relevant stakeholders
∎ Well-known local language/dialect and ability to work with people from different cultures, gender, religion, race, nationality and age
∎ Good command on MS-Office (MS word, Excel, Power Point etc.) and excellent typing skills in Bangla and English
∎ Critical and creative thinking and analytical skills.
∎ Excellent networking, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
∎ Strong analytical and report-writing skills
∎ Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team
∎ Excellent public speaking and facilitation skills
∎ Ability to work a flexible work schedule
∎ Willingness to travel to and work in remote areas for extended periods of time
∎ Highly motivated, self -starter, ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
∎ Supportive and committed to work for vulnerable groups, values-oriented and gender sensitive
