Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Initiate and process import & export business using LCs with Banks in close alignment with Treasury and all relevant internal departments; coordinate all activities for smooth and reliable transaction execution.
∎ Act as primary point of contact with the Treasury team on all business matters related to LCs and Guaranties. Proactively share knowledge and coordinate with all business teams within the company to ensure process compliance.
∎ Liaise with Banks on everyday questions to ensure smooth and high-quality execution of LC and Guaranty transactions.
∎ Maintain records and data on LC and Guaranty transactions for Healthineers business users in Bangladesh.
∎ Guide logistic team by providing different import model like; UPAS, Differed LC, TT, LCA and its bank charge calculation. Local LC shipping document presentation at advising bank and coordinate with all business as well as treasury team.
∎ Align with business, regulatory and bank for obtaining any prior approval related to LC & BG.LC and BG credit line monitoring and continues alignment with Treasury Team for necessary line availability.
∎ Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Customs Tarif, Duty Structure, etc. Align with Siemens ECC team and facilitate further confirmation on HSN code and duty payment confirmed by logistic team.
∎ Attending any customs hearing along with all logistic team.
∎ Prepare any business documents needed for presentation by Banks to execute payments (and follow-up on any queries).
∎ Submission of FORM-C, invoices along with necessary information and provide enough paper authenticity with clarification on Inward remittance management.
∎ Initiate and process central bank prior approval application for cross border service payment.
∎ Maintain good communication with bank and service provider Siemens entity.
∎ Participate to central bank hearing with AD bank on any cross-border payment.
∎ Import & Export order processing with Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guaranties (BG):
