∎ Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and negotiation skills.

∎ Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem solving abilities.
∎ Strong expertise in risk assessment.
∎ Should be fluent in English & Bengali.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial, Supply Chain Management etc.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare monthly import plan in coordination with Finance, Sales department. Negotiate with supplier.
∎ Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with the budget.
∎ Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
∎ Maintain proper correspondents with banks, shipping lines, freight forwarders, C&F agents etc.
∎ Issuance of Bank Guarantee, N.O.C from bond customs if required and release the import consignment.
∎ Monitor import L/C (Foreign & Local), bank acceptance, fund arrangement, liaison with the bank for import payment, handling insurance, and cooperation with transportation.
∎ Co-operate with suppliers (Local & Foreign) for shipment schedule and timely shipment-related information.
∎ Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and international trade agreements.
∎ Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and quality.
∎ Check Commercial invoice, packing list, details packing list, CO, BL for Import.
∎ Oversee the preparation and maintenance of import documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
∎ Identify and mitigate risks associated with the import process. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
∎ Ensure preparing and renewal all kind of Commercial related Certificates from government authorities.
∎ To preparation/ checking of monthly managerial reports and Visit factory for checking the materials stock.
∎ To manage VAT, TAX rules related to Import policies and L/C processing, SRO.
∎ To maintain communication with valued clients and buyers’ bank.
∎ To maintain liaison with customs, port authority, shipping agent, bank, insurance companies and other related government officials.
∎ Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
