Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Commercial Kitchen Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing kitchen equipment and facilities in a timely and efficient manner. This role ensures that all kitchen operations run smoothly by keeping equipment in optimal working condition and adhering to safety standards.
∎ Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment, including ovens, Mixers, Slicers, stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and ventilation systems, Ice makers, Gas or electric grill, VRF indoor /outdoor, Chiller, Coffee machine servicing
∎ Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
∎ Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
∎ Coordinate with external service providers for major repairs or specialized maintenance.
∎ Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including fire safety, sanitation standards, and building codes.
∎ Conduct safety inspections and report any hazards or deficiencies.
∎ Ensure timely procurement of necessary items to avoid disruption in kitchen operations.
∎ Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
∎ Be available for on-call duty in case of urgent repair needs.
