Job Context:
∎ A pediatrician called Children`s doctor is primarily responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the Child patient`s physical and psychological health issues. A Pediatrician`s duties and responsibilities may include:
∎ Working Place: Bhasanchar, Noakhali
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessing and diagnosing physiological and psychological medical concerns of patients (Babies & Children)
∎ Treating physiological and psychological disorders and diseases of child patients.
∎ Prescribing medication and treatments for patients.
∎ Ordering and analyzing diagnostic and laboratory tests and procedures
∎ Complete thorough and accurate documentation related to patient care
∎ A Pediatrician's primary responsibility is to care for their patients, but they may also work closely with other health care providers and specialists
∎ A Pediatrician in the hospital will work closely with the parents and family of the babies and children they care for.
∎ A Pediatrician practicing in a hospital, laboratory, or surgical environment may be required to visit patients at the bedside. Consulting with other healthcare providers and specialists is part of providing medical care within the working environment.
∎ Special Note:
∎ Carry out any additional assignment in accordance with her/his position entrusted by the Health Coordinator of GK from time to time and mutually agreed upon;
∎ Management may, at any point in time, modify this job description as it is deemed necessary in Gonoshastha Kendra's interests in consultation with an incumbent.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Help Collection and compilation of daily and weekly epidemiological data
∎ Support and supervision of other health Staff (Medical Assistants/Paramedics/Nurse/Others).
∎ Prepare need assessment of necessary drugs, material, and equipment for consultations
∎ Give individual health education related to the patient's disease
∎ Manage emergency cases according to GK/UNHCR protocols and regulation
∎ Refer cases according to GK/UNHCR pathway and procedure
∎ Ensure patient confidentiality is respected and treat all the patients with respect and design
