  • 10+ years in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position

  • Background in local manufacturing or related industries is highly desirable

  • Manufacturing Insight: Understanding of production workflows, supply chains, and inventory management.

  • Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor teams while influencing company-wide decisions.

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to address challenges like margin pressures or operational inefficiencies

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Awareness of local tax implications, trade policies, and environmental regulations impacting manufacturing.



Responsibilities & Context:

A Used Oil Refinery and Lubricant Manufacturing entity is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the company’s financial operations, ensuring profitability, and supporting strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.

  • Provide forecasts and financial models to support operational and strategic decisions.

Cost Management:

  • Analyze production costs and implement cost-saving measures.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Oversee budgeting processes and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Provide accurate short- and long-term forecasts to guide decision-making.

Capital Allocation and Investments:

  • Manage capital expenditures (CapEx) and assess ROI for machinery or expansion projects.

  • Evaluate funding options for working capital and growth.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in adherence to local regulatory standards.

  • Oversee audits and manage relationships with external auditors.

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial risks related to raw material costs, market fluctuations, or operational inefficiencies.

  • Develop mitigation strategies, such as hedging or diversifying supply chains.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Build cross-functional relationships with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain leaders.
