Strategic Financial Leadership & Enterprise Value Creation
Align financial strategy with the organization`s long-term vision, guiding corporate performance, investment prioritization, shariah compliance and shareholder value.
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, influencing enterprise direction and growth through financial foresight collaborating with Department/Division Heads.
Digital Finance Transformation & Process Automation
Lead the deployment of advanced technologies (ERP, RPA, AI/ML, API integration, cloud finance) across the finance value chain and accelerating the centralization process.
Modernize and digitize order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report cycles to improve cost, speed, and compliance.
Embed digital spend management and procurement intelligence across departments.
Integrated Performance Management & Predictive FP&A
Drive continuous forecasting, driver-based planning, and scenario analysis using advanced analytics.
Lead margin variance analysis, cost-volume-profit modeling, and product/channel profitability tracking for decision-making excellence.
Own end-to-end capital expenditure, operating budgets, and P&L accountability across business units.
Enterprise Risk Management, Governance & Controls
Oversee financial, cyber, operational, and reputational risk management.
Ensure robust internal controls, Basel III readiness, and risk-adjusted capital planning.
Lead internal and external audits with full audit preparedness across functions.
Data Intelligence & Decision Support
Build a data governance framework ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and security across financial and non-financial data.
Update the bank’s accounting systems as per International Accounting Standard (IAS), Bangladesh Bank Guidelines and Bank Company Act. Reviewing the Institutions financial conditions to position and recommend viable alternatives for cost effective operations of the Bank.
Deploy dashboards and BI tools for real-time insights, enabling executives to make data-led, forward-looking decisions.
Capital Structure, Liquidity & Treasury Optimization
Manage capital adequacy, liquidity buffers, and cost of funds in line with local and global regulatory requirements.
Lead regulatory stress testing, contingency funding plans, and strategic ALM.
Optimize investment decisions, debt structuring, and financing arrangements.
Compliance, Regulatory & Tax Governance
Ensure strict compliance with \ Bangladesh Bank regulations, Basel guidelines, FCA/SEC (as applicable), and tax laws.
Management of Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax and VAT in accordance with applicable laws prevailing in Bangladesh.
Coordinate with the external, internal and regulatory Auditors and VAT Intelligence, VAT Circle, Tax as well as attending all hearings about LTU audit.
Oversee ESG and non-financial disclosure compliance in line with evolving statutory and sustainability expectations.
Business Partnering & Commercial Finance Enablement
Partner with business unit leaders to co-own P&Ls, unlock operational efficiencies, and model new revenue streams.
Support pricing, product design, distribution strategy, and cost management initiatives with financial insights.
Serve as the commercial conscience—balancing opportunity with risk.
Sustainability & Multi-Capital Reporting
Champion integrated reporting, disclosing performance across financial, human, social, natural, and intellectual capital.
Establish value driver metrics that capture social impact, and long-term sustainability performance.
Value Metrics, Incentives & Performance Culture
Design financial and non-financial KPIs linked to executive compensation, risk-adjusted returns, and value delivery.
Active participation in the strategic planning process, budgeting and forecasting of the Bank`s performance and to build a strong foundation by establishing financial discipline and ensuring accountability through follow-up & monitoring of performance and to recommend corrective measures for variance.
Embed outcome-based accountability and value-for-impact models across the organization.
Support internal performance benchmarking, margin expansion, and ROI optimization.
People, Culture & Finance Leadership
Build and mentor a digitally fluent, diverse, and ethically grounded finance workforce.
Lead regional finance hubs, centers of excellence, and matrix finance teams in different geographies.
Promote cross-functional collaboration, ethical conduct, and professional integrity.
Strategic Projects, M&A, and Business Transformation
Lead high-impact initiatives such as digital finance hubs, IPO readiness, capital market transactions, restructuring, or acquisitions.
Prepare, present and ensure correctness of different statements required for CAMELS rating, QRR and Inter Bank Transaction Matrix report for submission to BB and different financial reports to the Management, Board of Directors and Shareholders to direct and supervise preparation of all fiscal reporting, such as cost accounting, budgets, regulatory authorities and government reports.
Apply SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) and IRR/NPV-based appraisal to strategic investments and innovations.
