Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring the cameras proactively in order to deter, detect and disrupt crime and criminal behavior at the earliest opportunity ensuring this is carried out in accordance with the factories CCTV monitoring procedures.
∎ To ensure all events / incidents are recorded to evidential standards.
∎ To liaise closely with GM (Fire & Security), other security personnel and inform them of appropriate incidents and information relating to the CCTV network, assisting them as required.
∎ To take appropriate follow up action to ensure the successful resolution and conclusion of any event / incident.
∎ To have an understanding of the Factory’s Safety responsibilities and to be aware of CCTV and other workers / staff Safety initiatives affecting the Factory premises.
∎ To complete and maintain accurate logs of all events/incidents on computer databases or in manuscript form.
∎ Maintain a register of all images released to any legal authority (with the prior permission of the Management) and requests for viewing of incidents.
∎ To prepare written statements and reports relating to CCTV incidents.
∎ To test daily the functionality of all cameras and ancillary equipment and report faults as directed.
∎ To operate IT systems as required for the completion of duties.
∎ Should be able to communicate by radio transmissions pertinent to operations and relevant Surveillance activities.
∎ Carry out administrative and other tasks as required, filing and storing discs and prints and the efficient operation of the CCTV control room.
∎ To control access to the CCTV control room in order to ensure only appropriate vetted staff and contractors / technicians / repair engineers are granted access.
∎ In the event of burglary, fire, or flood in the factory premises to request the appropriate assistance / service via the duty officer, and to assist those services where required. In the event of burglary or other crime, to preserve the crime scene until further advised by the senior security officer on site.
∎ To maintain records in respect of engineers visits and other visitors.
∎ To maintain a clean and tidy working environment, respecting equipment, fixtures and fittings.
∎ Performs other duties as assigned by the Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Knowledge of how CCTV can be used to proactively detect crime.
∎ Ability to observe procedures and statutory codes in all aspects of CCTV use.
∎ Ability to operate CCTV control systems quickly and accurately.
∎ Ability to use software applications to review and download CCTV footage and produce evidential copies.
∎ Ability to produce clear accurate reports to evidential standards.
∎ Ability to work as part of a team.
∎ Ability to work with minimal supervision and to priorities work.
∎ Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
∎ Should have the preparation to work in different shift.
