Responsibilities & Context:
Carpenter Job Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.
Construct and install doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, and other wooden fixtures.
Build and repair walls, floors, roofs, staircases, and frameworks.
Install partitions, drywall, and wooden structures.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect and replace damaged or defective wooden structures.
Ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Estimate material requirements and minimize waste.
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other construction workers.
