Responsibilities & Context:
To oversee and ensure smooth cargo operations, including acceptance, flight planning, build-up monitoring, import handling, and ramp management, while maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise cargo acceptance, flight planning, build-up monitoring, import handling, and ramp operations in compliance with company SOPs.
Monitor cargo warehouse activities to ensure adherence to operational standards.
Maintain effective communication with GSE, ATC Tower, customs, and other airport authorities for seamless operations.
Obtain flight schedules and overflight approvals from CAAB within carrier timelines.
Liaise with downline stations to maximize payload and revenue.
Handle import shipments, amendments, customs hearings, and meetings.
Manage MSWA, MSCA, and FDCA processes promptly.
Track shipment disposal and cool room penalties.
Respond to special cargo queries and provide timely feedback to network counterparts.
Ensure SOP compliance for ULD stock handling, shipment acceptance, build-up, and ramp operations.
Verify timely submission of all files and reports by assigned personnel.
Maintain liaison with Principal Management and GSA to keep downline staff updated.
Continuously monitor and improve staff efficiency to maintain OPI performance.
