Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

The objective of a hospital canteen supervisor is to ensure the smooth, efficient, and hygienic operation of the hospital`s food service, providing a safe and healthy dining experience for patients, staff, and visitors. This involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, overseeing food preparation and service, and adhering to hygiene and safety standards. 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily bazar list forecasting and ensure the bazar quality and quantity.

  • Daily grocery and ready food stock checking as per food delivery order and sales support.

  • Ensure food availability for patient attendant and Hospital staffs.

  • He/she is responsible for Daily bazar bill submitted and Daily sales amount deposited to Accounts & Finance Department.

  • Follow the approved daily menu roster.

  • Responsible for optimum use the resources and controls the wastages.

  • Ensuring compliance with sanitation, hygiene. health and safety legislation.

  • Responsible for ensuring the time management of staff food & Dining food cart (Nurse Hostel, General staff etc.)

  • Ensure the patient food noncooked item after 10:00 pm as per requirement.

  • Ensure the dry food Inventory & cooked food.

  • Other any special assign task from management.

  • Ensure the balance between with cooked food & raw Materials.
