Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Café Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.
∎ The manager will be in charge of the day-to-day running`s of the business ensuring all team are prepped and motivated for the day and food safety checks are carried out on both opening and closing shifts.
∎ Café Manager responsibilities include scheduling shifts for wait staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and ordering supplies like coffee, milk and snacks/desserts as needed. To be successful in this role the candidate should have work experience with various roles in a coffee & dessert shop . Also, should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.
∎ Ultimately, the manager will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our café into a favorite local spot.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage day-to-day operations of the café
∎ Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
∎ Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk and other ingredients)
∎ Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses
∎ Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences
∎ Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
∎ Ensure all café areas are clean and tidy
∎ Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience as a Café Manager/ Restaurant management
∎ Must have strong leadership, motivational and management skills
∎ Must be smart and have good command over English
∎ Should know to increase business..
∎ Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
∎ Good math skills & multi tasking Ability
∎ Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
∎ Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
∎ Customer service attitude
∎ Excellent Team Player and can work under pressure
