Responsibilities & Context:
  • Conduct thorough business analysis of companies seeking funding, evaluating their business models, growth potential, competitive positioning, and overall market conditions.

  • Perform financial analysis on companies applying for funding, assessing their financial health, profitability, cash flow, and risk factors to ensure they meet investment criteria.

  • Analyze and review business plans, identifying key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to provide insights on the feasibility of funding.

  • Develop detailed financial models to forecast the performance of businesses post-funding and assess their ability to generate returns for investors while adhering to Shariah-compliant principles.

  • Collaborate with the Shariah compliance team to ensure all aspects of business and financial practices align with Islamic financial principles, avoiding prohibited activities.

  • Prepare due diligence reports summarizing both the business and financial analysis, and provide clear recommendations for approving or rejecting funding applications.

  • Monitor the financial performance and business growth of funded companies, ensuring they meet predefined financial goals and providing ongoing assessments of their operations.

  • Conduct risk assessments of businesses, identifying potential challenges in their financial and operational models, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure investor protection.

  • Provide detailed financial and business reports to management, offering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for improving the platform’s funding decisions.

  • Analyze industry trends and market conditions to help identify sectors with high growth potential and suggest new business opportunities for the platform.

  • Assist in refining the platform’s funding criteria and develop guidelines to ensure businesses seeking funding meet both financial stability and halal investment standards.
