Experience:
Masters degree in Agri Business, Food or Agricultural Marketing or Related Field from a reputable management institute plus relevant work experience of a minimum of 5 years, or Bachelors degree in Agri Business, Marketing or Related Field from a reputable management institute plus relevant work experience of a minimum of 7 years
Experience as agricultural or food sector marketing/business development executive, ideally with international experience in the agricultural or food processing industry in Bangladesh
Startup experience in Retail, FMCG or Food Sector is a plus
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including excellent communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills; the ability to effectively liaise with colleagues, partners, and donors in a diverse multi-cultural and fast-paced team environment
Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis of financial data and to forecast/assess the financial impact of proposed plans/projects
Experience in the conception, design and management of strategies, initiatives, and programs.
Exceptional drive and entrepreneurship, a pronounced ability to motivate others

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an exceptional dynamic self-motivated Business Manager, who is passionate about our mission, to help drive this venture. The role will be based out of Dhaka (or flexible) reporting to the Network Entity Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Manager is responsible for the overall direction and execution of HPS Bangladesh’s Strategic Plans, including exploring and realizing the business potential of nutrient-enriched products, market development and acquisition of rural and urban consumers through private sector commercialization models. The successful candidate will be a mission-focused, seasoned, and process-minded manager with experience and a track-record in marketing agricultural seed and food products in social and commercial marketing settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement an annual and medium-term marketing strategy and budget, aligning with previous market research and program objectives to drive profitable revenue growth in HPS Bangladesh
Develop and execute business models and related business plans and activities covering sales, revenue, market share and expense controls
Identifying positive business cases and business opportunities with both new and existing partners in milling, food processing that generate profitable growth through HPS Bangladesh
Prepare and present quarterly reports to the Network Entity Manager
Building strong strategic multilevel relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure future sales
Analyze market and competitors to help establish product differentiators
Work closely with the country team to develop context specific value propositions i.e., product pricing models and placement to increase market share
Develop advertising, marketing, and communications material that appropriately reflects the brand to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
Planning and delivering of a range of marketing campaigns and new marketing initiatives from idea to execution across channels, creating marketing programs, and sales collateral
Grow brand awareness, manage brand reputation, and evaluate it by estimating brand awareness metrics
Engage in resources mobilization efforts
Act a champion in creating awareness for the production and consumption of biofortified crops in Bangladesh
Collaborate with potential partners to generate demand for nutritious food products from HoReCa, e-commerce and offline stores
